FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
No. The first edition was released in 1965 on SABA (SB 15 063). This copy is the 1971 German MPS/BASF edition with catalogue number CRM 612, also in a gatefold sleeve.

How are SABA and MPS related?
Both labels go back to the jazz productions at Hans Georg Brunner-Schwer's studio in Villingen. In 1968 the SABA jazz catalogue became the MPS label, which later reissued earlier SABA recordings such as this one.

What does Media NM- / Cover VG+ mean?
NM- (Near Mint minus) means the record is close to new with at most minimal signs of play. VG+ (Very Good Plus) means the sleeve shows light wear. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Do you have more MPS records?
Yes, for example The Roland Hanna Trio – Child Of Gemini (MPS 1971) and Dusko Goykovich International Quintet – As Simple As It Is. More titles are in our Jazz collection.
