Rahsaan Roland Kirk – Bright Moments is a live double album by multi-instrumentalist Rahsaan Roland Kirk on Atlantic (cat. no. SD 2-907). It was recorded on June 8 and 9, 1973 at the Keystone Korner club in San Francisco, produced by Joel Dorn, and released in 1973. FAQ

Are "Volunteered Slavery" and "The Inflated Tear" included?
No. Those pieces come from other Kirk albums; the earlier listing here was incorrect. The full tracklist is shown above.

What are the manzello and stritch?
The manzello resembles a soprano saxophone, the stritch is a straight alto saxophone. Kirk often played them at the same time as his tenor.

What does Media VG+ / Cover VG mean?
VG+ (Very Good Plus) means the records show light signs of play but play cleanly. VG (Very Good) means the sleeve shows clear wear. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Do you have more Rahsaan Roland Kirk records?
Yes, for example Rahsaan Roland Kirk – The Return Of The 5000 Lb. Man and Rahsaan Roland Kirk – Other Folks' Music. More titles are in our Jazz collection.
