Released in September 1981, Sons And Fascination is one of Simple Minds' most celebrated albums and a landmark of the British new wave and synth-pop movement. Produced by Steve Hillage, the album features dense, atmospheric electronics layered over driving rhythms - capturing the band at their most adventurous before their mainstream breakthrough. Tracks like "The American" and "Love Song" showcase Simple Minds' unique blend of post-punk intensity and cinematic grandeur. This DE Original on Virgin is a fine pressing of a cult classic.
