Description

Astor Piazzolla – Libertango is an album by the Argentine bandoneón player and composer from his years in Italy. It was recorded in May 1974 at Mondial Sound studio in Milan with Italian musicians, engineered by Tonino Paolillo; the original edition came out in Italy in 1974 on Carosello. The title track became one of Piazzolla's best-known works, joined by "Adiós Nonino" and several "-tango" pieces with electric bass, organ and drums. This copy is a 1984 German pressing on Tropical Music (series "The Piazzolla Collection 1974–79, Vol. 1").
