Description

Dave Liebman – Lookout Farm is an album by saxophonist Dave Liebman on ECM Records (cat. no. ECM 1039 ST), released in 1974. It was recorded on October 10 and 11, 1973 at Generation Sound Studios in New York and produced by Manfred Eicher. Liebman, then a member of Miles Davis' band, blends electric jazz with Indian and Latin percussion colours: alongside Richard Beirach and John Abercrombie are Badal Roy (tabla) and Don Alias (congas). Side B is taken up by the 24-minute "M.D. / Lookout Farm". This copy is the 1974 German original pressing with insert.

FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
Yes. This is the 1974 German first edition on ECM, cat. no. ECM 1039 ST.

What does "laminate peeling off" mean?
The sleeve has a laminated coating. On this copy it is lifting in places, plus there is corner wear, hence the VG grade.

What does Media VG+ / Cover VG mean?
VG+ (Very Good Plus) for the record means light signs of use that hardly affect playback. VG (Very Good) for the sleeve means clear signs of wear such as edge or corner wear. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Do you have more Dave Liebman records?
Yes, for example David Liebman Quintet – If They Only Knew and David Liebman Quartet – The Opal Heart. More titles are in our Jazz collection.
