Blur - Think Tank (Vinyl 2LP | US, CAN & EU Reissue | 2013)

Blur – Think Tank is Blur's seventh studio album, released on Parlophone on 5 May 2003. It was recorded between November 2001 and November 2002 at Damon Albarn's 13 Studio in London, in a barn in Marrakesh and in Devon, produced mainly by Ben Hillier, with Norman Cook ("Crazy Beat", "Gene By Gene") and William Orbit ("Sweet Song"). Guitarist Graham Coxon left the band during the sessions and appears only on "Battery In Your Leg"; the album blends rock with electronic and North African influences and entered the UK chart at No. 1. The cover artwork is by Banksy. This copy is a 2013 Parlophone reissue (for the US, Canada and Europe) as a gatefold 2LP.

FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
No. The original was released in 2003. This double LP is a 2013 Parlophone reissue, pressed by Optimal Media and mastered at Abbey Road Studios.

Is Think Tank Blur's last album?
No. It was followed by "The Magic Whip" (2015) and "The Ballad Of Darren" (2023). Think Tank is, however, the only Blur album without Graham Coxon as a full member.

Is the record new?
Yes. The record is new and factory sealed, so it has not been opened or played.

Do you have more Blur records?
Yes, for example Blur – Blur (2LP, 2013) or Blur – Parklife (2LP). More titles are in our Alternative Rock collection.
