Elvis Presley – Elvis Is Back! is the first album after Elvis returned from army service in Germany. It was recorded between 20 March and 4 April 1960 at RCA Studio B in Nashville, produced by Steve Sholes and Chet Atkins, and released on 8 April 1960 in both mono and stereo. The mix of rock 'n' roll, blues and ballads runs from "Fever" to Lowell Fulson's blues "Reconsider Baby". It reached No. 1 in the UK and No. 2 in the US. This copy is a 1978 German reissue on RCA Victor (LSP 2231).
