Description

Karat – Fünfte Jahreszeit is a studio album by East Berlin rock band Karat, released in 1987 on Amiga (cat. no. 8 56 218) and issued in West Germany at the same time. It was recorded at Amiga-Studio Berlin and produced by Helmar Federowski. It is Karat's first production with bassist Christian Liebig; on "Die Glocke Zweitausend" Tamara Danz (Silly) sings a duet with Herbert Dreilich. Songs such as "Der Doppelgänger" and "Die Glocke Zweitausend" address the division of Germany and the stagnation in the GDR. This copy is the 1987 GDR original pressing.
