Released on 3 June 1977 on Step-Forward Records, Right To Work is one of the earliest and most politically charged singles of the UK punk movement. Chelsea, fronted by Gene October, delivered a raw, urgent anthem that captured the frustration of working-class Britain — a genuine artefact from the very first wave of UK punk.
