"Music For The Knee Plays" is one of David Byrne's most adventurous solo works - a suite of pieces originally composed for Robert Wilson's theatrical epic "The CIVIL warS". Recorded with a New Orleans brass band ensemble, the album blends jazz, minimalism, and avant-garde composition into something entirely its own. A landmark of 1980s experimental music and an essential piece for any serious Byrne or Talking Heads collector. Standout tracks include "In The Upper Room" and "Jungle Book".
