Playing The Fool (1977) is Gentle Giant's landmark double live album, capturing the band at their most theatrically ambitious. Recorded on their 1975-76 world tour, it showcases their extraordinary musicianship and complex arrangements in a live setting - from intricate Renaissance-influenced passages to full-band prog rock spectacle. An essential document of one of prog rock's most technically gifted bands. This is the 1978 German Chrysalis pressing.
