"Red Roses For Me" is The Pogues' explosive 1984 debut album on Stiff Records (SEEZ 55 / 6.26059), a raw and exhilarating collision of Irish folk tradition and punk energy that announced one of the most original bands of the decade. Featuring Shane MacGowan's ragged vocals over furious Celtic instrumentation, this German original is an essential document of alternative rock history and a cornerstone of any serious punk or folk rock collection.
