A double album compilation drawing from the catalogue of Volker Kriegel — one of Germany’s most gifted and distinctive jazz guitarists, and a key figure in the European jazz-rock and fusion scene of the 1970s. Known for his fluid, melodic playing and sophisticated compositional style, Kriegel was a founding member of the United Jazz + Rock Ensemble and led his own group Spectrum.
