Released in 1979 on the German Decca label, Laser is the self-titled debut from the German electronic and disco outfit of the same name. Sitting at the intersection of late 1970s electronic pop, jazz-inflected arrangements, and dancefloor-ready disco grooves, the record is a fine example of the sophisticated European club sound of the era - and a genuine rarity for collectors of German disco and electronic music.
