Released in 1987 on Blast First/Mute, Headache is one of Big Black's most ferocious EPs, capturing Steve Albini's band at the peak of their abrasive, machine-driven noise rock. Recorded with the band's signature drum machine and razor-sharp guitar attack, the EP is a relentless blast of industrial-tinged hardcore that remains as confrontational and vital as ever. An essential piece of the Big Black catalog and the wider noise rock underground.
