FAQ
Is this the original pressing?
No. The original appeared in 1969 with catalogue number CS 9875. This copy is a 1977 US reissue with catalogue number PC 9875.
Why does each side have just one track?
Teo Macero and Miles Davis built the album in the edit from the takes of a three-hour session. Each side is a suite: Shhh/Peaceful on side A, In A Silent Way/It's About That Time on side B, with the opening theme returning at the end.
What does Media VG+ / Cover VG+ mean?
VG+ (Very Good Plus) for the record means light signs of use that hardly affect playback. For the sleeve, VG+ means light wear. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.
Do you have more Miles Davis records?
Yes, for example Miles Davis – Bitches Brew, recorded right afterwards, or Miles Davis – Miles In The Sky. More titles are in our Jazz and Fusion collections.
