Description

Miles Davis – Bitches Brew is a double album by trumpeter Miles Davis, recorded from 19 to 21 August 1969 at Columbia Studio B in New York and produced by Teo Macero; it was released in the USA in March 1970. Davis worked with a large electric line-up of two bassists, several drummers and electric pianists, including Chick Corea, Joe Zawinul, John McLaughlin and Wayne Shorter; Macero edited the long improvisations into the finished pieces. The album is regarded as one of the starting points of jazz-rock; the cover painting is by Mati Klarwein. On offer is a European CBS reissue as a stereo double LP with sunburst labels and the catalogue numbers CBS 66236 / 66236.
