Description

Miles Davis – Miles Davis In Europe is a live album by Miles Davis, recorded on July 27, 1963 at the Festival Mondial du Jazz in Antibes (Juan-les-Pins), produced by Teo Macero and first released in 1964. It is one of the earliest recordings of the new quintet with Herbie Hancock, Ron Carter and the then 17-year-old Tony Williams, with George Coleman on tenor saxophone. The programme includes standards such as "Autumn Leaves" and "All Of You" plus "Milestones", "Joshua" and "Walkin'", partly at very fast tempos. This copy is the 1964 Italian original edition on CBS (cat. no. S 62.390) in stereo, with inner sleeve.
