Description

The Dickies - Banana Splits

Label: A&M Records - AMS 7431
Format: Vinyl 7", Single, 45 RPM, Yellow Opaque
Pressing: UK Original
Country: UK
Released: 1979
Genre: Punk

Released in 1979, "Banana Splits" is one of The Dickies' most beloved and enduring singles - a gloriously unhinged punk cover of the classic children's TV theme, played at breakneck speed with maximum irreverence. The Los Angeles punk quartet turned the Banana Splits theme into a punk anthem, and this UK Original pressing on A&M Records comes on striking yellow opaque vinyl, making it as visually fun as the song itself. A genuine collector's gem from the golden age of UK punk.
