FAQ
Is this the original pressing?
Yes. The single was released in the UK on Black Ark International as BA 601; no release year is printed on the record. A white label edition is dated 1983.
Did Lee Perry produce this?
Yes, the label credits “L. Perry” as producer, and it was recorded at his Black Ark studio. Black Ark International, however, was a UK label distributed by Starlight Records, not Perry's own Jamaican label.
What does Media NM- / generic sleeve mean?
NM- (Near Mint minus) means the record is close to new with at most minimal signs of play. The single comes in a plain generic sleeve without its own artwork, as is common for reggae 12" singles. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.
Do you have more Bunny Rugs records?
This is currently our only Bunny Rugs record. It pairs well with the debut album of his later band: Third World – Third World. More singles are in 12" Maxi Singles and our Reggae, Ska & Dub collection.
