David Bowie ‎- The Man Who Sold The World (Picture Disc Vinyl LP)

David Bowie – The Man Who Sold The World is David Bowie's third studio album. It was recorded in April and May 1970 at Trident and Advision Studios in London and produced by Tony Visconti, who also played bass. The original was released in November 1970 in the US on Mercury and in April 1971 in the UK. With guitarist Mick Ronson the album sounds much heavier than Bowie's early folk records and is seen as a precursor to the Ziggy Stardust era; Nirvana brought the title track back to wide attention with their 1993 Unplugged version. This copy is a Parlophone picture disc reissue, new and factory sealed.

FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
No. The original came out on Mercury in 1970/71. This is a later picture disc edition from Parlophone.

How does a picture disc sound?
On a picture disc the image sits under a thin layer of vinyl. They are mainly collector's items and often sound a little noisier than black vinyl.

Is the record new?
Yes. The record is new and factory sealed, so it has never been opened or played.

Do you have more David Bowie records?
Yes, for example David Bowie – Space Oddity, David Bowie – Heroes or David Bowie – Let's Dance. More titles are in our Rock collection.
