FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
Yes, it is a European pressing from the 1986 release year, catalogue number M 42122.

Is this a jazz album?
No. Branford Marsalis plays classical pieces here, mostly late French Romantic and early 20th-century repertoire, with a chamber orchestra. There is little improvisation; the focus is on his soprano saxophone tone.

What does Media NM- / Cover VG+ mean?
NM- (Near Mint minus) means the record is close to new with at most minimal signs of play. VG+ (Very Good Plus) for the sleeve means light wear. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Do you have more Branford Marsalis records?
Yes, for example Royal Garden Blues and Scenes In The City. From his brother we have Wynton Marsalis – Hot House Flowers. More in our Jazz collection.
