Description

Swamp Dogg – Total Destruction To Your Mind is the first album by Jerry Williams Jr. under his alter ego Swamp Dogg, released in the US on Canyon in 1970. It was recorded and mixed at Capricorn Studios in Macon, Georgia, with a studio band around Paul Hornsby, Johnny Sandlin, Robert Popwell and Jesse Carr plus the Maconites horns; Williams produced and arranged it himself. The record pairs Southern soul with sharp, often darkly humorous lyrics about politics, love and society. This copy is the 1971 French edition on Disques Vogue in a gatefold sleeve.
