Easy Rider (Music From The Motion Picture) brings together driving rock and folk-tinged songs from Steppenwolf, The Byrds, The Jimi Hendrix Experience and Roger McGuinn. The selection captures the film's restless, open-road atmosphere.

Includes Steppenwolf's "Born To Be Wild" and "The Pusher", plus "If Six Was Nine" by The Jimi Hendrix Experience.
"The Weight" is performed by Smith on this LP, rather than The Band's version heard in the film.
