Various – Beyond Space Compilation Vol. 1 is a compilation on the German independent label subversiv*rec (cat. no. Most of the ten tracks come from the US underground hip hop scene around the Anticon label, for example by Sole, Alias and Odd Nosdam, plus contributions from The Bomarr Monk, The Shape Shifters, JD Walker and Telephone Jim Jesus. Many tracks combine rap with electronic, instrumental soundscapes. The edition was limited to 500 copies. This copy is the 2004 German original pressing.
