Recorded live at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco in January 1974, Atlantis is widely regarded as one of McCoy Tyner's most powerful and expansive statements on record. Spread across four sides of vinyl, the performance captures Tyner's quartet at its most ferocious and spiritual, with Azar Lawrence on saxophones, Joony Booth on bass, and Wilby Fletcher on drums. Highlights include the epic title track "Atlantis" and the deeply meditative "Presence."
