The Smile – Cutouts is the third studio album by The Smile, the trio of Radiohead members Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood and Sons of Kemet drummer Tom Skinner. The songs come from the same sessions as Wall of Eyes (January 2024), recorded in Oxford and at Abbey Road Studios and produced and mixed by Sam Petts-Davies. Cutouts was released on XL Recordings on 4 October 2024; the London Contemporary Orchestra plays on "Instant Psalm" and "Tiptoe" in arrangements by Jonny Greenwood. The artwork was painted by Stanley Donwood and Thom Yorke during the recording. This copy is the 2024 EU first pressing on black vinyl.

Yes. This is a first pressing from the 2024 release year, the standard black version with catalogue number XL1445LP. There is also a limited white edition (XL1445LPE).

Who produced Cutouts?
The album was produced and mixed by Sam Petts-Davies, who also worked on Wall of Eyes. Nigel Godrich, Radiohead's long-time producer, worked on the debut A Light for Attracting Attention, not on Cutouts.
