Description

The Wailers – Burnin' is the Wailers’ second album for Island Records, released on October 19, 1973. It was recorded in spring 1973 at Harry J Studios in Kingston and mixed at Island Studios in London, produced by The Wailers and Chris Blackwell. It was the last album before Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer left the group, and it contains two of the best-known Wailers songs, “Get Up, Stand Up” and “I Shot The Sheriff”, which Eric Clapton turned into a worldwide hit in 1974. This copy is a 1982 European Island reissue in a gatefold sleeve.
