"The Story Of The Blues" is one of the defining moments of the early 1980s British new wave scene. Released by Pete Wylie's Wah! project, the track blends anthemic rock grandeur with synth-driven urgency, earning the band a UK Top 3 hit in 1982. This French repress on WEA captures the song's sweeping, emotional power in full 7" single format.
