Description

Miles Davis – Decoy is a 1984 album by Miles Davis (in Europe on CBS, cat. no. 25951). It was recorded in 1983 in New York studios, while What It Is and That's What Happened were captured live at the Festival International de Jazz in Montreal. Davis produced it himself, with keyboardist Robert Irving III as co-producer, who also wrote the title track. The music blends jazz with funk, synthesizers and drum machines; the band includes John Scofield, Branford Marsalis, Bill Evans, Darryl Jones, Al Foster and Mino Cinelu, and Gil Evans co-arranged That's Right. This copy is a 1984 European original pressing in a gatefold sleeve.
