Description
Miles Davis – The Man With The Horn is Miles Davis's comeback album after a break of almost six years, released in July 1981 on Columbia/CBS. It was recorded between June 1, 1980 and May 6, 1981 in New York, produced by Teo Macero. Davis put together a new young band including saxophonist Bill Evans, guitarists Mike Stern and Barry Finnerty, bassist Marcus Miller and drummer Al Foster. Two tracks, Shout and the title song with vocals by Randy Hall, were made with a second group around his nephew Vince Wilburn Jr. This copy is a European reissue on CBS (cat. no. CBS 32751).
