Description

Pat Metheny – Watercolors is guitarist Pat Metheny's second album on ECM (cat. no. ECM 1097). It was recorded in February 1977 at Talent Studio in Oslo, produced by Manfred Eicher with Jan Erik Kongshaug as engineer, and released in June 1977. It marks Metheny's first recording with pianist Lyle Mays and drummer Danny Gottlieb, with Eberhard Weber on bass. All pieces are Metheny originals, and the quiet "Sea Song" closes the record at just over ten minutes. This copy is a 1977 German original pressing.
