American Beauty (1970) is widely regarded as one of the Grateful Dead's finest studio achievements — a warm, intimate folk-rock masterpiece that stands alongside its twin release Workingman's Dead as the peak of the band's acoustic period. Featuring timeless songs written with Robert Hunter, the album includes the immortal "Friend Of The Devil", "Sugar Magnolia", "Truckin'" and "Ripple" — tracks that have become cornerstones of American rock songwriting. This German Original pressing on Seven Arts / Warner Bros. is a rare and sought-after first edition.
