Description

Rahsaan Roland Kirk – Other Folks' Music is an album by multi-instrumentalist Rahsaan Roland Kirk, recorded at Regent Sound Studios in New York, produced by Joel Dorn and released by Atlantic in 1976 (US cat. no. SD 1686). As the title suggests, Kirk mostly plays music by other composers here, including Charlie Parker's "Donna Lee", Frank Foster's "Simone" and pieces by his bandmates Trudy Pitts, Hilton Ruiz and Mattathias Pearson. The liner notes were written by Stanley Crouch. This copy is the 1976 Italian Atlantic edition (W 50309).
