FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
No. The original was released in the US in 1967 (EKS-74007). This copy is a later German Elektra reissue with catalogue number ELK 42 012.

What does Media NM- / Cover VG+ mean?
NM- (Near Mint minus) means the record is close to new with at most minimal signs of play. VG+ (Very Good Plus) means the sleeve shows light wear, here at the edges and from storage. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Who wrote "Alabama Song" and "Back Door Man"?
Both are covers: "Alabama Song (Whisky Bar)" is by Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill from the opera Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny, "Back Door Man" by Willie Dixon.

Do you have more The Doors records?
Yes, for example The Doors – Strange Days or The Doors – Absolutely Live. More titles are in our Psychedelic Rock collection.
