Description

Earl Klugh – Wishful Thinking is an album by guitarist Earl Klugh, released by Capitol Records in 1984 (European cat. no. 1C 064 2400921). It was recorded and mixed in October and November 1983 at Mediasound Studios in New York and A&M Studios in Los Angeles; Klugh wrote all eight pieces and produced the album himself, with Roland Wilson as co-producer. His nylon-string acoustic guitar takes centre stage, backed by a band and orchestral arrangements by Johnny Mandel, Dave Matthews and Don Sebesky. The album reached No. 1 on the US Billboard jazz chart. This copy is the 1984 European original pressing.
