George Benson / Earl Klugh – Collaboration was released in 1987 on Warner Bros. Records and brings together two of the most elegant jazz guitarists: Benson on electric, Klugh on acoustic. Produced by Tommy LiPuma and backed by Marcus Miller, Harvey Mason and Greg Phillinganes, the album moves between soul-jazz, smooth jazz and Latin jazz – for example on “Mt. Airy Road”, “Mimosa” or “Brazilian Stomp”.
