FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
Yes. It is the original 1982 US issue on Columbia with catalogue number FC 37713 and the original inner sleeve.

What is a Superbone?
A trombone with both valves and a slide, developed by Ferguson together with the maker Holton. He plays it on this album alongside trumpet and flugelhorn.

What does Media NM- / Cover VG+ mean?
NM- (Near Mint minus) means close to new with at most minimal signs of use. VG+ (Very Good Plus) means light signs of use that barely affect playback or overall appearance. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Do you have more Maynard Ferguson records?
This is currently our only record by him. A good match: Stanley Clarke – Hideaway, an album by this LP's producer. More titles are in our Jazz collection.
