Description
Miles Davis – Nefertiti is the fourth studio album by Miles Davis's second great quintet, recorded between June 7 and July 19, 1967 at Columbia 30th Street Studio in New York and released in March 1968 (Columbia CS 9594). It is Davis's last fully acoustic album; Davis wrote none of the tunes – three are by Wayne Shorter, two by Herbie Hancock and one by Tony Williams. On the title track the horns repeat the theme without solos while the rhythm section improvises underneath. This copy is a European CBS reissue (cat. no. 85551).
