FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
Yes. This is the 1985 French first edition on Barclay with catalogue number 827 488-1.

Is this a jazz album?
Only partly. Cherry sings and raps over funk, reggae and synthesizer grooves mixed with West African sounds, so the record sits between jazz, pop and world music.

What does Media NM- / Cover VG+ mean?
NM- (Near Mint minus) for the record means close to new with at most minimal signs of use. VG+ (Very Good Plus) for the sleeve means light wear. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Do you have more Don Cherry records?
Yes, for example Gato Barbieri / Don Cherry – Togetherness and Don Cherry & The Jazz Composer's Orchestra – Relativity Suite. More titles are in our Jazz collection.
