FAQ

Do the Marsalis brothers play on this record?
Yes. Wynton Marsalis plays trumpet and Branford Marsalis alto saxophone. Shortly afterwards both launched their own careers.

Is this the original pressing?
Yes. It is the 1982 US first edition on Concord Jazz, cat. no. CJ-196.

What does Media close to NM- / Cover VG+ mean?
The record is nearly NM- (close to new with at most minimal signs of use). The sleeve shows light wear with some shelf wear. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Do you have more Art Blakey records?
Yes, for example Art Blakey And The Jazz Messengers – Moanin', 3 Blind Mice and Straight Ahead. From Branford Marsalis we have Royal Garden Blues. More titles are in our Jazz collection.
