Description

Ron Carter And Jim Hall – Live At Village West is a duo album by bassist Ron Carter and guitarist Jim Hall on Concord Jazz (cat. no. CJ-245). It was recorded live in November 1982 at the Village West club in New York and released in 1984. The two had been playing as a duo since the 1970s; here they take on standards and jazz classics by Milt Jackson, Thelonious Monk and Sonny Rollins, plus Carter's own "New Waltz".
