It was recorded in August 1973 at Soundpush Studios in Blaricum (Netherlands), engineered by Jan Audier. Sources differ on whether the first edition came out in 1973 or 1974. The line-up includes international soloists such as Art Farmer, Palle Mikkelborg, Herb Geller, Philip Catherine and Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen; besides originals the band plays Horace Silver's "Nica's Dream".
