Description
Miles Davis – Miles In The Sky is an album by Miles Davis' second great quintet with Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock, Ron Carter and Tony Williams, recorded in January and May 1968 at Columbia Studio B in New York, produced by Teo Macero and first released in July 1968. It is seen as a transitional album: on "Stuff" Hancock plays electric piano and Carter electric bass, and Shorter's "Paraphernalia" features George Benson on electric guitar – first steps towards "In A Silent Way" and "Bitches Brew". This copy is a 1974 Italian pressing on CBS (cat. no. 63352).
