Savatage - Streets: A Rock Opera (Vinyl 2LP | EU Original | 2022)

Savatage – Streets: A Rock Opera is the sixth studio album by US band Savatage, first released on Atlantic in October 1991. The concept album is based on a story by producer Paul O'Neill and follows the rise and fall of New York musician D.T. Jesus. O'Neill, Jon Oliva and Robert Kinkel later carried its mix of heavy metal, piano ballads and musical-style drama into Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Unlike the original LP, this double LP contains every song from the CD version plus the bonus track “Larry Elbows”. This copy is the limited 2022 EU edition on Ocean Blue 180g vinyl in a gatefold sleeve, new and factory sealed.

FAQ

What does “New & factory sealed” mean?
The record is unplayed and still in the manufacturer’s original shrink wrap, so it carries no Goldmine grade.

Is this the original pressing?
No. The album came out in 1991. This double LP is the 2022 earMUSIC reissue, a limited collector's edition on Ocean Blue vinyl. We also have the 1991 European original LP: Savatage – Streets (EU Original 1991).

How does it differ from the original LP?
The 1991 LP had 14 tracks; “St. Patrick's” and “If I Go Away” were CD-only. The 2022 double LP includes both songs plus the bonus track “Larry Elbows”.

Do you have more Savatage records?
Yes, for example Savatage – The Wake Of Magellan (2LP, 2022), Savatage – Edge Of Thorns (Sun Yellow 2LP, 2022), Savatage – Gutter Ballet (LP + 10", 2022). More titles are in our Metal collection.
