Savatage - Streets (A Rock Opera) (Vinyl LP | EU Original | 1991)

Savatage – Streets (A Rock Opera) is the sixth studio album by US band Savatage, released in October 1991 on Atlantic (cat. no. 7567-82320-1). The concept album is based on a story by producer Paul O'Neill and follows the rise and fall of New York musician D.T. Jesus. It was recorded in New York from January to July 1991. O'Neill, Jon Oliva and Robert Kinkel later carried this blend of heavy metal, piano ballads and stage-musical drama into Trans-Siberian Orchestra. This copy is a 1991 European original pressing.

FAQ

Is this the original pressing?
Yes. This is the 1991 European first edition on Atlantic. The 2022 double LP we also stock is a later edition.

What does Media VG+ / Cover VG+ mean?
VG+ (Very Good Plus) means light signs of use that barely affect playback or overall appearance. It applies to both record and sleeve. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Are songs missing on the LP compared to the CD?
Yes. The CD has 16 tracks, the original LP 14: "St. Patrick's" and "If I Go Away" are not on the vinyl edition.

Do you have more Savatage records?
Yes, for example Savatage – Gutter Ballet (EU Original 1989), Savatage – Hall Of The Mountain King (US Original 1987) and Savatage – Streets: A Rock Opera (2LP, 2022). More titles are in our Metal collection.
