Savatage - Gutter Ballet (Vinyl LP + 10" | EU Reissue | 2022)

Savatage – Gutter Ballet is the fifth studio album by US band Savatage, first released in Europe in 1989 and in the US in January 1990. It was recorded in 1989 at the Record Plant in New York and produced by Paul O'Neill. Following “Hall Of The Mountain King” (1987) it was the band's second album with O'Neill and the move to a more orchestral, piano-driven sound, heard above all in the title track and “When The Crowds Are Gone”. This copy is the limited, remastered 2022 collector's edition: the LP on silver vinyl in a gatefold sleeve plus a bonus 10" at 45 RPM, new and factory sealed.

FAQ

What does “New & factory sealed” mean?
The record is unplayed and still in the manufacturer’s original shrink wrap, so it carries no Goldmine grade.

Is this the original pressing?
No. The album came out in 1989. This is the remastered 2022 earMUSIC collector's edition. We also have the 1989 European original LP: Savatage – Gutter Ballet (EU Original 1989).

What is on the bonus 10"?
“Thorazine Shuffle”, which in 1989 was only a cassette and CD bonus track, and a live version of “When The Crowds Are Gone” recorded at the Hollywood Palace in Los Angeles in 1990.

Do you have more Savatage records?
Yes, for example Savatage – Streets: A Rock Opera (2LP, 2022), Savatage – The Wake Of Magellan (2LP, 2022), Savatage – Edge Of Thorns (Sun Yellow 2LP, 2022). More titles are in our Metal collection.
