Savatage - The Wake of Magellan (Transparent Orange Vinyl 2LP | EU Reissue | 2022)

Savatage – The Wake Of Magellan is the tenth studio album by US band Savatage, first released in Europe and Japan in September 1997 and in the US in April 1998. Produced by Paul O'Neill, Jon Oliva and Robert Kinkel, the concept album combines the story of an old sailor who sets out to die at sea and then rescues a drowning man with two real events: the Maersk Dubai incident, in which stowaways were thrown overboard, and the murder of Irish journalist Veronica Guerin. It reached number 11 in the German charts. This copy is the limited, remastered 2022 collector's edition on transparent orange 180g vinyl in a gatefold sleeve, new and factory sealed.
