FAQ

What is the difference between hard rock and heavy metal?
Hard rock emerged in the late 60s from blues rock – with distorted guitars, powerful riffs and plenty of groove, as with Led Zeppelin or Deep Purple. Heavy metal developed from it from the 70s onwards and is usually heavier, faster and less blues-based. The boundaries are fluid.

How do you grade the condition?
Every used record is checked by hand and graded to the Goldmine standard, with vinyl (media) and sleeve (cover) graded separately. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Are the images photos of the actual record?
Yes. We scan every record ourselves – used and new. For used records you get exactly the copy shown.
