FAQ

What is the difference between punk and post-punk?
Post-punk emerged in the late 70s, right after the first wave of punk. The do-it-yourself attitude stayed, but instead of fast three-chord rock the bands experimented with dub, funk, electronics and art rock – often more atmospheric and darker.

Which bands are post-punk?
Among the best-known are Joy Division, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Wire, Gang of Four, Public Image Limited, Bauhaus, Echo & The Bunnymen and early The Cure. Today bands like Fontaines D.C. and Molchat Doma carry on this sound.

How do you grade the condition?
Every used record is checked by hand and graded to the Goldmine standard, with vinyl (media) and sleeve (cover) graded separately. All grades are explained on our Vinyl Grading page.

Are the images photos of the actual record?
Yes. We scan every record ourselves – used and new. For used records you get exactly the copy shown.
